Organizations taking donations to Ukraine

The Ukrainian National Home in Syracuse, NY is collecting supplies such as toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, diapers, dry goods and shelf-stable food like canned soup, macaroni and cheese, granola bars, pasta. Bring the items to UNH on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. or Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Ukrainian Federal Credit Union’s Syracuse branch has set up a fund that will go directly to help in Ukraine. There are no online donations: call the branch at (315) 471-4074 and tell them you’d like to donate to the “Ukraine in our Hearts” fund.

West Genesee High School students are collecting supplies and money to send to Ukraine: toiletries, blankets, toothpaste, soap, canned food, clothes and socks. Supplies can be dropped off at the high school.

The First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church in Camillus is taking donations online that will go directly to humanitarian aid and medical supplies for refugees in Ukraine. To donate, go to the “Announcement” section on the website and click “Donate to Ukraine”.

Heritage Hill Brewery at 3149 Sweet Road in Pompey, NY has a new beer, Ghost of Kyiv. For each beer sold, $2 will go to Ukrainian relief until the batch is gone.

Cathy’s Cookie Kitchen at 266 W Jefferson Street in Syracuse is selling blue and yellow “Cookies for Ukraine.” Owner Cathy Pemberton will donate all proceeds to Jose Andreas’ World Central Kitchen (WCK), which helps feed Ukrainian refugees

Peace, Love, and Cupcakes at 121 W Fayette Street in Syracuse is collecting items to donate to the Syracuse Ukrainian National Home: medical supplies, including first aid kits, gauze, gloves, bandages and other items. They are open Wednesday and Thursday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
